We are recruiting a part-time Cover Teacher to support a primary school in the Cheadle (ST10) area with short-term and day-to-day absences. This is ideal for teachers looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance, reduce hours, or gain additional experience in different classroom settings without the planning or marking responsibilities of a full-time role.
The Role:
* Delivering pre-set lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in the absence of the class teacher
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively and ensuring a safe, calm learning environment
* Supporting pupils with classwork and maintaining school routines and expectations
* Working flexibly across year groups depending on school requirements
Who We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Primary school teaching experience (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
* Strong classroom management skills and a professional approach
* Adaptable, reliable, and confident working in new environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
