About the Role
As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships. You’ll manage a portfolio of existing clients while proactively seeking new business opportunities. This position requires a confident communicator with a proven ability to close deals and deliver exceptional service.
This is an active, client-facing role. You will regularly be out on-site conducting visits, discussing upcoming projects, and meeting clients when new tenders come in. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys being out and about rather than tied to a desk.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients – ensuring exceptional service, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
* Proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities across the construction and facilities sectors.
* Prepare tailored proposals and consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
* Collaborate with estimating, operations, and delivery teams for smooth project execution.
* Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on key sales metrics.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will have/be:
* Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within construction, facilities, or technical services.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly and close business.
* Highly motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple client accounts.
* A positive attitude and a hunger to progress your career.
* Full UK driving licence as you will be required to travel to sites and client meetings as needed.
