In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving volume, sales, and margin growth within our specialist Meat & Poultry category. You’ll work closely with Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Business Development Managers (BDMs), and Sales Consultants to maximize sales opportunities and identify potential new customers.
This is a remote-based role, but candidates should be within commuting distance of the region.
Your Responsibilities:
* Boost volume, sales turnover, and margin within the Chilled & Frozen Meat & Poultry category by collaborating with independent sales teams on customer opportunities.
* Build strong relationships with customers, presenting and demonstrating our Meat & Poultry range with professionalism to establish trust and credibility.
* Promote the Brakes chilled meat & poultry proposition effectively.
* Work closely with ASMs, BDMs, and dedicated telesales specialists to develop new business and increase share of wallet.
* Assist in selling products at risk and reducing waste by collaborating with dedicated telesales teams.
* Participate actively in team meetings to train and enhance the knowledge of Brakes sales teams, ensuring they capitalize on all customer opportunities.
* Complete weekly and monthly administration accurately.
* Maintain a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce, capturing all customer details and requirements.
* Maximize selling opportunities by analyzing customer needs and identifying gaps.
* Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
* Take ownership of your personal and career development in partnership with your line manager.
