What the Job Involves This role involves delivering a high-performing social work service within Adult Social Care, focusing on mental health. As an AMHP, you will undertake Mental Health Act Assessments as part of the AMHP rota for Hillingdon Council. You will work with mentally disordered offenders with complex needs, developing and implementing support plans to enhance their independence and maximise choice and control. The role includes acting as an organizational expert, providing mentorship, coaching, and supervision to social work colleagues. You will also engage in statutory assessments, manage caseloads, and uphold safeguarding duties while ensuring legislative compliance. The position demands proactive service planning, financial management, and fostering partnership relations to improve service delivery.
