Art and Photography Teacher - Corby Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term/Permanent Opportunities Available Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner) Inspire Creativity and Artistic Expression in Corby TradeWind Recruitment is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art and Photography Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Corby. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to develop their artistic skills, creativity, and confidence through a broad and engaging curriculum. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we are looking for someone with a passion for visual arts and photography who can encourage students to explore and express their creativity. The Role: Teach Art and Photography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where available. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' practical, creative, and analytical skills. Support students in exploring a range of artistic techniques, media, and photographic processes. Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement. Organise and contribute to exhibitions, displays, enrichment activities, and creative projects. Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement, and artistic achievement. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Art and/or Photography within a UK secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education. The ability to inspire students of all abilities and encourage artistic development. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
