Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Primary School in Sheffield to work on a long-term or short-term basis starting as soon as possible!
You’ll be joining an inclusive primary school, who has a fantastic team of staff who work closely together to ensure children are achieving excellence within their learning and children who are eager to learn.
This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
Job Specification
* Help the class teacher plan, prepare and carry out lessons tailored in line with the primary curriculum.
* Support individuals who have need academic support and/or have SEN
* Track and report pupils progress and report back to SLT/parents/carers
* Deliver catch up sessions/take out small groups to focus on core subjects
Essential Qualifications:
* Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting
* Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
* Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
