The Role:
Join our Consultant Psychiatrist team to lead mental health care in Eating Disorders. You will participate in the on-call rota, providing emergency mental health assessments and treatment as needed. The on-call schedule will be explained before the interview to help you balance clinical duties with professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team.
* Lead ward rounds, team meetings, and care reviews.
* Oversee management of complex cases, especially those involving risk or challenging behaviour.
* Support patients and families through treatment decisions, relapse prevention, and recovery pathways.
* Mentor, supervise, and support junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
* Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with CQC regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with site leadership to ensure efficient service delivery and patient satisfaction.
