Senior Planner

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum | Permanent
Location: Ellesmere Port
Reports to: 2 Direct Reports
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the MRP process
* Maintain planning parameters including lead times, ROP, ROQ, and safety stock
* Balance capacity and workload, identifying constraints and solutions
* Oversee purchasing of standard and long lead‑time materials
* Optimise inventory levels and stock health
* Maintain ERP/MRP planning data accuracy
* Co‑ordinate product and stock change management
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Requirements
* Previous experience in a senior planning or supply chain role
* Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
* Manufacturing environment experience essential
* Strong understanding of capacity planning and inventory management
* Excellent analytical and organisational skills
