HR Generalist Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an HR Generalist to provide key local HR support at our production site in Campsie, supporting Operational Managers on all aspects of their people strategy. You will be a vital member of the HR team supporting large-scale manufacturing operations in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize HR and other business systems to build and report on employee KPIs, enabling fact-based decision-making to support business objectives.
2. Monitor HR data for accuracy and quality management.
3. Provide HR advice, guidance, and support to management and staff in line with company policy and employment legislation across the manufacturing network in Ireland.
4. Assist with HR systems integration and change management initiatives.
5. Support managers in staff management and achievement of objectives.
6. Drive HR-related business initiatives and improvements.
7. Identify and evaluate development needs within the business.
8. Develop departmental development plans to enhance skills and knowledge.
9. Ensure compliance with HR procedures and assist in their implementation and monitoring.
10. Collaborate with recruitment providers and hiring managers to recruit qualified candidates.
11. Resolve HR issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
12. Perform general HR administration and maintain personnel records.
13. Provide data to payroll for accurate monthly payroll administration.
Qualifications:
* At least 3 years of HR-related experience, including employee relations.
* A relevant HR degree is advantageous.
* Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, HCM, and ORC is beneficial.
* Proficiency in HR databases and MS Office applications.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical & Environmental Demands: The role requires presence on a manufacturing site, observing PPE and EHS policies.
Travel: Up to 10% travel to other sites in Ireland (Burnfoot or Letterkenny).
