Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal About the role and who we are looking for Our Woodley clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. Duties will include nurse consults, anaesthesia, inpatient care, lab work and schedule 3 procedures (with training).
We are looking for someone who would be excited to get involved with a clinic refresh and rebrand, this is a real opportunity to be able to have real influence and be involved with this exciting project.
Fix or flex – work life balance that works for you We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. The full-time position is typically 40 hours over 4 or 5 days per week with a combination of early shifts from 8:00am – 4:30pm and late shifts from 11:00am – 7:30pm. It also involves 1:4 Saturday mornings and there is no OOH.

Our Practice It is a first-opinion, SA practice and we are conveniently situated in the bustling high street of Woodley with good public transport links. Our facility is large and modern with 3 large consult rooms: a dedicated digital x-ray and ultrasound room, a modern theatre, prep room with tub table, separate cat and dog kennels, an in house lab, patient monitoring equipment such as a multiparameter and blood pressure machine and also drip pumps, baer huggers and fluid warmers. Join a Supportive Team Our practice is a 4 Vet team including 2 experienced Vets supported by the Nursing team and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and an Animal Nursing Assistant who is also an animal physiotherapist. The clinical team are all supported by our reception team of 4 and experienced Practice Manager and Area Director who is also a vet. Our Head Vet is currently working towards securing a surgery certificate.
Our team are passionate about providing gold-standard care to our clients and their pets and we have a strong ethos of teamwork and communication. The team is also supported by a local Veterinary hospital with overnight care that also provides training opportunities for the team.
