Product Design Engineer : Furniture

Great opportunity to join an industry leading company based near Dawlish, Devon.
You will be joining a small, high performing design team working on a variety of projects within the Furniture industry.
The Role:
* Designing products that are highly commercial, and designed for volume sales, typically upholstered beds, Cabinets and chairs.
* Creating final visuals for both in house and customer presentation
* Design and Development through sketching and CAD modelling and rendering
* Travel to customer sites : biggest client is in high wycombe : 1x per quarter but they travel as a team.
* Hold product presentations online, as a lot of customers are up north.
* Clear and pricise communications via emails, Teams, etc between factories, colleagues and customers.
The Person:
* High level of creativity and visual communication skills
* BSc in Product Design or similar
* Proficiency in 2D and 3D SolidWorks or similar
* Some knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Huge attention to detail, and meticulous working practices
* Knowledge of Photoshop would be great
