Our client, a prominent organisation within the technolody sector is currently seeking an IT Category Team Leader to join their team.
This is hybrid role inside IR35
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and managing the IT category team to deliver optimised procurement solutions
Developing and implementing IT category strategies to ensure value for money and efficiency
Overseeing the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement activities accordingly
Managing supplier relationships to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement
Conducting market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and innovations
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with IT procurement
Job Requirements:
Experience in IT category management, with a proven track record of delivering successful procurement outcomes
Strong procurement skills, including contract negotiation and supplier management
Understanding of procurement processes, policies, and best practices
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
