Fabulous role for a Chemistry Graduate wishing to move into a Commercial role with career development in place to guarantee rapid progression.
Our client is a well established European distributor of specialty chemicals and due to continued growth they are seeking a Sales Executive to facilitate business growth. You will have either sales or chemical industry experience and a Chemistry Degree. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
* Delivery of budgeted targets, objectives and KPIs as set
* Ability to collate and provide reporting through relevant market analysis and data
* Work with all internal stakeholders to devise and agree Sales Development strategy and delivery
* Identification, engagement, qualification and sales with relevant customers and markets
* Key relationship builder with existing/new customers and colleagues
* Proactively provide sales development proposals, properly qualified and quantified
Job Role & Competencies:
* Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or similar
* Sales experience ideally in the chemicals or polymers industry or lab based experience wanting to move to a commercial role
* Excellent telephone manner and people skills to form credible relationships with customers
* Well organised with good attention to detail
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills (internally and externally)
* Focused on creating new business by networking and connecting with potential customers
