Join Our Team as a Service/Diagnostic Technician at Lookers Motor Group Limited
We are looking for a skilled Service/Diagnostic Technician to join our team at Lookers Motor Group Limited. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000 (including OTE), working hours of 42 hours per week from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm, with Saturday on a rota basis.
Based at Lookers VW Battersea, you will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks, services, and repairs using the latest technology. You will report to the Service Manager and receive ongoing support, training, and career development opportunities, including manufacturer accreditation and hybrid & electric vehicle training.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out vehicle health checks using advanced technology
* Performing vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
* Executing additional repairs with customer authorization
* Completing warranty repairs as per manufacturer standards
* Road testing vehicles to ensure fault rectification
* Maintaining high standards in all paperwork and documentation
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working in a workshop environment
* Self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and committed to high standards
* Full UK driving license
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification; MOT license is a plus
* Experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided
