To provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a nursing home setting, ensuring their clinical, emotional, and social needs are met while upholding the highest professional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate personalised care plans for residents.
Administer medication and treatments in line with NMC guidelines and nursing home policies.
Monitor residents health and respond promptly to changes in condition.
Lead, mentor, and supervise care staff to maintain high standards of care.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
Liaise with residents families, GPs, and healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety regulations.
Requirements:
NMC registration as RGN or RMN.
Previous nursing experience, ideally in a care or nursing home setting.
Strong clinical and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Empathetic and resident-focused approach to care.
