About the role As an invigilator you will conduct examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and The Sheffield College instructions, you will play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination/assessment process.
Main Responsibilities: Report to and be briefed by exams staff prior to each exam session To keep confidential exam papers and materials secure before, during and after exams Ensure exam rooms are set out according to the instructions To admit candidates into exam rooms Identify, seat and instruct candidates in the conduct of their exams Supervise and observe candidates at all times and be vigilant throughout exams Keep disruption in exam rooms to a minimum Deal with emergencies or irregularities effectively Record/report any incidents, disruption or irregularities Record/report any incidents or disruption Instruct candidates in finishing their exams and to collect exam scripts Securely return all exam scripts and exam materials to the exam officer.
What we can offer you As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of £13.45 per hour (£12 per hour plus £1.45 holiday pay).
