The Role: SEND Teaching Assistant As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including: Severe or profound learning difficulties Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Physical or sensory challenges Every pupil is unique, and you’ll help them access a broad, balanced, and individualised curriculum that supports both learning and life skills. What You’ll Do: Prepare and support engaging classroom and outdoor learning activities Promote independence and inclusion in all areas of school life Provide physical and emotional care, tailored to each pupil’s needs Be a key part of a nurturing, supportive, and collaborative team What We’re Looking For: GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent) A flexible, proactive, and caring attitude Confidence working across varied classroom settings, indoors and outdoors A genuine passion for helping young people thrive Experience is welcome, but a positive mindset and willingness to learn are just as important.
