Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4.45pm
Friday, 7.30am to 3.00pm
Job Summary
Responsible for processing orders and ensuring these are ready for despatch and carrying out deliveries in a safe and effecient in a timely manner. Carrying out deliveries in a safe and eficent manner
Key Tasks
* Processing telephone orders and serving customers.
* Checking in deliveries, putting stock away in the correct location, loading delivery vehicles and carrying out deliveries.
* Provide quotes to customers over telephone or in person.
* Receive & putaway stock.
* Prepare orders for despatch.
* Invoices
* Process cash payments from customers.
* Forklift duties as required (training will be provided if necessary).
* Support the team during busy periods, holidays, sickness etc by undertaking general administration duties.
* Any other duties conducive to the effective operation of the post which the Company deem to be within the post holders competence. Operational requirements of the business may dictate that overtime may be required.
