Overview

Soft Services Solutions Manager position at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). CBRE is a global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, working with a network of supplier partners to deliver cleaning, catering, security and waste services. The role focuses on developing and executing CBRE's soft services supply chain strategy and ensuring best-in-class supplier performance, value creation and innovation, aligned with CBRE's vision and operational excellence standards.

Reporting lines include collaboration with the Supply Chain Performance Director and UK Procurement Director, bringing together stakeholders from across sales, operations and procurement to deliver a unified programme for the integrated supply chain model.


Responsibilities

* Soft Services Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and execute a soft services supply chain strategy that supports sales, innovation, value creation and operational delivery. Engage stakeholders across operations, sales, procurement and other functions to ensure the strategy meets business/client requirements. Build a fit-for-purpose supply chain for each soft services category with an optimal mix of partners across geographies, sectors and service lines with strong performance levels.
* Sales Support: Provide bid support for critical soft services requirements and assist client presentations to demonstrate expertise. Manage and improve pricing templates and models to ensure transparency and drive best-value outcomes. Provide internal guidance on optimal delivery models for key opportunities and work with supply chain partners to improve bid support and streamline pricing processes.
* Value and Opportunities: Identify and leverage multi-client spend opportunities and de-bundling strategies to drive value. Develop and articulate value propositions for key soft services suppliers to support sales and demonstrate the benefits of the partnership model. Collaborate with supply chain partners and CBRE operations teams to deliver mobilisations for new client accounts from day one of the contract.


Supplier Performance Management

* Drive engagement with account teams to encourage performance feedback for key soft services providers via the PULSE performance management tool.
* Analyse supplier performance and escalation data to identify risks and opportunities; lead performance improvements for key underperforming suppliers.
* Support account teams to manage performance at the account level, providing training and support as part of the downstream model; assist CBRE teams to deliver increased margin from soft services.


Supplier Relationship Management

* Lead segmentation of the soft services supply chain (Grow, Maintain, Reduce, Exit) across all partners.
* Build relationships with strategic partners at operational and senior levels; lead SRM meetings with key partners and engage stakeholders across functions to drive growth, identify innovations and share SRM outputs and value.


Training & Knowledge Sharing

* Build training materials to help the business manage soft services partners more effectively; work with operations teams to drive utilization of these materials.


Innovation & Market Insights

* Attend industry events to build category knowledge and identify emerging trends.
* Support the annual innovation challenge and contribute to case studies and sales collateral.


Skills and Qualifications

* Proven experience in soft services solutioning (cleaning, security, catering and waste).
* Strong influencing skills and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
* Experience in supplier performance and relationship management.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills within soft services.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills; understands commercial and contract risk.
* Analytical with the ability to use data to drive decision making; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment; collaborative and relationship-driven with supplier partners.
