About the team


The Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Risk team is responsible for ensuring the bank adheres to all regulatory as well as internal risk appetite requirements with regards to liquidity risk, interest rate risk and solvency risk. The team has oversight over the first line business activity of the bank and is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of key risk metrics to various committees, including the Board. The team reports into the Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO) and works closely with Treasury, Capital Markets, Finance, Savings and Lending teams to ensure risks are understood and managed.


What you will be doing?


In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the ongoing operations of the ALM Risk function with respect to risk monitoring, assessment and reporting.

You will support established and future initiatives to enhance and upgrade the bank's policies, systems and controls in accordance with industry good practice and emerging regulatory standards.

One of your key duties will be to provide support in relation to the management of liquidity, interest rate and solvency risks, daily reporting and analysis.

Working within a supportive team you will be to deliver monthly reporting in relation to various committees and working groups whilst ensuring accurate data is provided in a timely manner and to a high consistent standard.

This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to gain oversight over the whole bank, whilst developing your skill set to support your career goals

Your responsibilities will include…

* Supporting production of internal Management Information, Daily and monthly reporting, and ad hoc risk analysis.
* Performing daily analysis of liquidity positions and monthly analysis of market risk positions with the ability to interrogate data to identify any issues.
* Supporting ALCO pack production and ALM risk numbers presented to ALCO.
* Ensuring access to relevant balance sheet data and ability to run current positions and historical analysis.
* Supporting analysis for ALCO and Risk Committee and drafting of papers.

Do you have the skills?


We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

* Strong knowledge of MS-Excel capabilities (lookup functions, sumif functions, Pivot Tables etc.) is essential.
* Working knowledge of Excel modelling, Power Pivot/Power Query, VBA or SQL/Data Concepts are desirable.
* A good numerate/scientific Bachelor, Masters or post-Graduate degree would be advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills are essential.
