We require a motivated and dedicated nurse to work within the malignant Haematology Specialist Nursing team at Harrogate District Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team focused on delivering the best possible personalised care to patients with a range of malignant haematological conditions. The nursing service undertakes nurse‑led clinics and is committed to advancing clinical skills, decision making and further education and training will be offered and encouraged.
Our service supports patients diagnosed with or suspected of having a haematological cancer, providing comprehensive nursing support and expert advice throughout their pathway from diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and end‑of‑life care in collaboration with specialist teams and services including community and specialist palliative care as required.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist advice, information and support to patients and their families.
* Offer a personalised care approach, addressing concerns throughout the patient’s journey.
* Manage a caseload of patients independently with advice and guidance from the team leader.
* Participate in inpatient support and nurse‑led clinics, receiving appropriate education and training.

* Acute services, specialising in critical care, surgical, cardiology and respiratory
* Frailty services, including emergency department, community rehabilitation, fast response and virtual wards
