The Role
As Senior Payroll Advisor, you'll take responsibility for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services across a diverse client base. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll manage end-to-end payroll processes while maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external bodies.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing full-cycle payroll for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Handling Auto Enrolment and statutory calculations (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.).
* Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and regulatory changes.
* Providing advice and support to clients on payroll-related queries.
* Liaising with HMRC and third-party providers as needed.
* Supporting continuous improvement within the payroll function.
About You
You'll be an experienced payroll professional who enjoys working in a client-focused environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.
Essential skills and experience:
* Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience.
* Solid knowledge of payroll legislation and Auto Enrolment.
* Confident in manual payroll calculations.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Payroll/HR systems
Experience within an accountancy or bureau environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
