Childrens Residential Support WorkerWe are currently recruiting for a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join a therapeutic young peoples home supporting vulnerable children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding positive relationships and engaging with young people dailySupporting children from traumatic backgrounds with patience and consistencyLearning young peoples routines, interests, likes, and dislikes through care plansSupporting educational goals and personal developmentHelping with day-to-day living tasksGuiding and supporting behaviour managementEnsuring the safety, wellbeing, and emotional stability of young peopleWorking closely with social workers, therapists, and the wider care teamShift Pattern9am 11pm + sleep-in7am 9:30am the following dayStaff work 7 x 24-hour shifts (including sleep-ins) across a 3-week rotaRequirementsMust be aged 21+Full UK driving licence requiredMinimum 6 months experience within: Residential childcareSchoolsYouth workSupported accommodationEnhanced DBS or willingness to obtain oneTraining & ProgressionCandidates moving into permanent positions will receive:Level 4 Residential Childcare qualification Level 3 offered where UK residency requirements applyPRICE restraint trainingDevelopmental Trauma trainingTherapeutic Parenting trainingShortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a Teams meeting with the Registered Manager of the home as part of the recruitment process.If you are passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable young people and want to work within a therapeutic and supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.To apply, please send your CV outlining your experience and suitability for the role.Please note we cannot take anyone under sponsorshipTPBN1_UKTJ
