Overall Purpose
* Multi‑funtional role working with expert leaders in the finance department across all aspects of the Financing and management reporting activities.
o Financial Control and reporting of the Financing activities
o Management accounting and performance monitoring (Revenue, Expenses, New Production, RWAs etc.)
o Regulatory reporting
o Various tax duties as required
Main responsibilities
All actions where appropriate to this position must be compatible with Natixis carrying out business in accordance with the FCA Principles for Business which are available on the FCA website and detailed in the Natixis UK compliance manual.
* Financial reporting and Control
o Group reporting (management and financial consolidation package - Copernic) and agreement of inter‑company balances.
o Monitoring of IFRS9 provisioning.
o Monitoring of the financing trial balance.
o Ensuring all balances are controlled effectively working closely with the Financing expert leader and Finance Porto.
o Production of FX centralisation and cash management.
o Liaise with external auditors where necessary.
* Management information and reporting
o Production of daily P&L, monthly MI for steering and weekly London ExCo – Portfolio, Business Line, and budget holder monthly reports.
o With Financing expert leader, monitoring financing commitments, cost of risk, RWAs, and ad hoc management information requests.
o Assist with preparation of forecasts and budgets.
* Regulatory reporting
o Produce regulatory suite.
* AI & Automation
o Identify and implement efficiencies and improvements where appropriate through the use of AI and IT tools.
Qualifications
* Qualified accountant – Good knowledge of financial products, management accounting, tax, and financial accounting.
* Strong communication skills (written and oral) with all levels of staff in London and Head Office.
* High level of numeracy and accuracy and attention to detail.
* Manage time effectively and ability to deliver quickly.
* Able to self‑start and take tasks to the finish line and be flexible.
* Ability to be an effective problem solver.
* Ability to make improvement suggestions.
* Proactive rather than reactive.
* Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint presentation essential.
