A leading manufacturer, operating from a rural site with state-of-the-art production facility is on the Herefordshire/Powys border is seeking a Stock Coordinator on a full time permanent basis, to support the wider stock and warehouse team, by taking responsibility for the control of ingredients, storage and release.
What you can expect: 6am4pm on a 4-on 4-off shift pattern (Monday Sunday) Pay rate: £13.76 per hour Site-based position on the Herefordshire/ Powys border - own transport essential Role offers professional development and progression opportunities What you will be doing: Responsible for storage of ingredients and ensure that accurate stock rotation is effectively managed Support the Goods In department to process incoming ingredients Conduct daily temperature checks and ensure that the chiller is stocked up on a weekly basis Conduct regular stock takes to maintain accurate records, manage wastage and to make relevant adjustments as required Work closely with other teams to control stock levels and usage Preparation for the annual audit and play a key role in the execution of this event Investigate any issues raised and report findings to the Process Manager Raise exception requests with the Quality & Technical department and handle ingredient extensions accurately to protect product safety and integrity Operate a clean as you go policy and ensure that high standards of hygiene are always maintained Conduct planned deep cleans of the storage areas and ensure ingredients easy to access Provide support to the Process team and cover absences as and when required Carry out any other duties or tasks reasonably requested by a manager What we are looking for: Prior experience in stock control or procurement Food/drink manufacturing experience preferred Food Safety level 2 preferred, can be trained FLT Licence/experience preferred, can be trained Good communication skills both written and verbal A good standard of English and Maths Strong IT skills and data entry experience
