Responsibilities: Provide personalised support to students with moderate to severe learning difficulties, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop key skills. Assist in delivering tailored activities and therapies in collaboration with teachers and therapists, utilising specialised facilities such as hydrotherapy pools and multi-sensory rooms. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, confidence, and independence among students. Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to monitoring students’ progress and development. Participate in enrichment activities and collaborative planning sessions to enhance students’ learning experiences and personal growth opportunities. Requirements: Experience or understanding of working with children who have moderate to severe learning difficulties. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support personalised learning and therapy plans. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues in a respectful and inclusive manner. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to support students’ confidence, independence, and personal development. Willingness to adapt and learn, including using specialised facilities such as hydrotherapy pools and multi-sensory rooms as part of student support.
