About the role
Connex Education is recruiting for a Qualified Teacher to work on a one to one basis with a student who is not able to attend school in September. The student has a diagnosis of Non-ketotic Hyperglycinaemia and remains under the care of the Hospital. This role will be focusing around sensory activities and building a rapport with the student.
Tuition will be based in the students home and occasionally within the local hospital for three sessions per week.
As a Home Tutor, it is essential that you have a dynamic teaching style and can identify areas of improvement required when working on a 1:1 basis.
This role will start in September 2025 and will be on an long term basis.

Person Specification
* QTS or equivalent.
* Strong ability to engage and motivate reluctant learners.
* Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Driving license (Preferred).
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one.
* An outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations.
