We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher to join a school on a maternity cover contract from January 2026 until the end of the summer term (July 2026). Duties as Drama Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across the relevant key stages. Inspire creativity, confidence, and teamwork in students through performance and practical activities. Contribute to extracurricular opportunities such as school productions, workshops, and clubs. Assess and track student progress in line with school and curriculum requirements. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning. Ideal Drama Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching Drama at secondary level. A strong subject knowledge with the ability to motivate and engage learners. Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Drama Teacher.
