We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Services Limited, Central control team as our Community Alarms Technician.
Your role:
To travel across the district to visit customers in their own homes to explain our telecare monitoring services and promote the benefits of our personal care alarms, which enables people to live independently within their homes, and providing reassurance for their families.
You will be required to install, programme, test, maintain, repair the personal care equipment in domestic, sheltered schemes and commercial properties. As well as be responsible for ensuring that the equipment used by our customers are compliant with relevant safety regulations and standards. Other duties include providing advice and assistance to customers on the operation and maintenance of their alarm systems, as well as responding to emergency call-outs in a timely manner.
You will be part of the wider team of call handling operators who provide day-to-day support and guidance to vulnerable customers, ensuring that no call goes unanswered or without an action allowing our customers to feel confident in the service we provide to them.
What you will need:
It's imperative that you're able to multi-task, problem solve and be comfortable working under pressure. You will need to update the database to ensure records are kept current, in accordance with service requirements and GDPR.
To display excellent communication skills when presented with stressful and emotive situations whilst remaining polite and professional whilst striving to provide exceptional customer service.
