A new role has opened for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a detail-oriented accounts team for a specialist retail business. The role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis onsite at their Bristol office, which is close to transport links.
They are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, at least 2 years of accounting experience, and AAT Qualified. You'll support the Lead Accountant with reconciliations, purchase ledgers, and record production.

You will join a team of Accounts Assistants and report to the Lead Accountant. Your role will be key to ensuring the smooth operation of this luxury business.
The Role
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and numeracy skills and be prepared to deputize for the Lead Accountant when needed. Responsibilities include:
* Handling the collation and submission of payroll data
* Maintaining and reconciling nominal, sales, and purchase ledgers
* Assisting in the preparation of monthly management and annual audited accounts
* Reviewing company profit reports for accuracy
* Collaborating with junior team members to meet deadlines and standards
Requirements
* AAT Qualified
* Kerridge Software experience is essential
