Field Service Technician – Electrical / Instrumentation – Home Based - £40-43k overtime car/car allowance (£5500) bonus = £60-68k package Samuel Frank is recruiting a Field Service Technician. We are looking for a Field Service Technician with good electrical & instrumentation knowledge, who is skilled in fault finding on equipment such as motors, fans, pumps, low voltage instrumentation as well as having experience testing, commissioning and troubleshooting. Key aspects of the Field Service Technician role include: * Field Service Technician must be willing to travel and spend time away from home – role could suit a skilled Maintenance Engineer who is willing to travel * Most of the site work will be in the UK & Ireland (70-80%) with the rest being international. * Knowledge of gas combustion systems will be advantageous * Perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment * Qualified to at least HNC level * Good electrical knowledge with experience of motors, pumps, fans, low voltage instrumentation & control loops * Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance * Flexibility to occasionally work away for 3-4 weeks at a time and work some weekends * Occasionally respond to emergency call outs and resolve issues in a timely manner * x1.5 overtime pay on Saturdays and x2 overtime pay on Sundays. * All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship & have a full UK driving licence Ideal places to live, in terms of reasonable travel time to most customers – North West, Lancashire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, East Midlands, Cheshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Liverpool, Warrington, Manchester, Leeds, Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, North East, Newcastle, Sunderland, Stafford, Warwick, Birmingham & Durham.
