Teacher of Mathematics – full‑time permanent position (32.5 hours per week). Salary £32,916 – £51,048 per annum. Vacancy starts September 2026 at Moorside High School, part of the Potteries Educational Trust.
About the Trust
The Potteries Educational Trust is a multi‑academy trust covering Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire. It works collaboratively to improve outcomes for all children and young people, delivering high‑quality teaching, pastoral support and parental engagement. Moorside High School is an over‑subscribed comprehensive rated ‘good’ in the recent Ofsted inspection.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver curriculum‑based mathematics lessons that challenge and inspire all students.
* Develop active learning strategies and assess student progress.
* Collaborate with faculty to maintain and develop innovative teaching and learning.
* Support parents and provide pastoral care within the school community.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified teacher of mathematics (or equivalent).
* Early career teacher, experienced practitioner or candidate wishing to re‑train to teach maths.
* Strong knowledge of mathematics and a genuine passion for the subject.
* Good knowledge of safeguarding and commitment to child protection.
