Are you a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Assistant looking for a rewarding role within a friendly and nurturing pre-school environment?
GSL Education is working closely with a lovely pre-school setting in Chelmsford that is seeking a dedicated Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant to join their team on a term-time only basis, starting as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a warm, welcoming setting where children are encouraged to learn through play, creativity, and exploration.

About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support children within the pre-school setting, helping to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment where young learners can thrive.
The role offers a mixture of shift patterns across the week, including:
* 8:00am – 3:00pm (3 days per week)
* 9:00am – 6:00pm (2 days per week)
The setting can also offer some flexibility with timings for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities
* Creating a positive, nurturing, and stimulating environment
* Assisting with daily routines, snack times, and outdoor play
* Encouraging children’s communication, confidence, and independence
* Working closely with the Early Years team to support children’s progress
* Following safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
* Experience working within a nursery or pre-school setting
* A warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Someone who is reliable, proactive, and passionate about Early Years education
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
