We are currently recruiting for a Force Information Risk Assurer to support information assurance, security and risk management across the organisation.
Role Details
* Role: Force Information Risk Assurer
* Location: Office-based
* Rate:£17 – £22 per hour (dependent on experience)
The Role
You will play a key role in ensuring information security risks are identified, assessed and mitigated, supporting compliance with national information assurance policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and draft new Information Assurance process documentation
* Review, update and maintain local information security policies and standards
* Review and assess system designs to ensure secure-by-design principles are applied
* Ensure compliance with national information security policies and standards
* Identify information security risks and provide risk mitigation recommendations
* Develop and deliver security guidance for system users
* Provide advice on security requirements for new and existing IT systems
* Review third-party security questionnaires and assess suitability as part of onboarding processes
