Job Description
Fairmont St Andrews is seeking an Assistant Bars Manager to join our vibrant team. Reporting to the Bar Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing professional, engaging, and friendly service consistently.
2. Taking sole responsibility for the outlet during your shift, managing team duties and ensuring smooth operations.
3. Maintaining a safe, secure, and hygienic environment for customers, staff, and visitors.
4. Promoting our products related to the hotel and the Fairmont brand.
5. Handling all cash, payments, billing, and gratuities according to Beverage Department procedures.
6. Training and developing the team through innovative sessions.
7. Developing an annual training calendar tailored to individual needs and documenting training professionally.
8. Assisting in developing and implementing new food strategies with the Executive Chef and Bar Manager.
9. Covering the Bar Manager in their absence.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Highly responsible and reliable.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Visa Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to work in the EU or hold valid UK work authorization.
