Title: Client Manager / Senior AccountantLocation: York Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
We are seeking a Client Manager / Senior Accountant to join an Accountancy Practice based in their York office. They are a long-standing firm that work with a range of clients from small start-ups through to medium-sized companies.
Key Responsibilities:• Manage and prepare accounts for a portfolio of clients across various sectors• Prepare company and individual tax returns• Review bookkeeping and VAT returns, offering advice where needed• Handle billing, fee quotes, renewals, debtors, and WIP• Work closely with clients, providing regular support and advice• Supervise and manage workflow of team members• Support business development and attract new clients• Mentor and develop junior team members
What We're Looking For:• Experience in practice as a Client Manager or Senior Accountant• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)• Strong client relationship and advisory skills• Proven leadership and team development experience• Excellent written and verbal communication• Solid technical knowledge in general accounting
