Job description Cumbria Kitchen & Bedroom Furniture has been in business since 1977. We are an independent family run manufacturer of kitchen and bedroom furniture. We now have an opportunity for a wood machinist to join our expert team. Locally we are renowned for our quality and performance.
The Role We are recruiting for an experienced wood machinist to work in our production mill at Kingstown, Carlisle.
You will be used to working in a low volume bespoke environment and will be able to consistently deliver results working under pressure. You should have a passion for timber manufacturing an able to work to achieve a high standard of accuracy and detail. Experience on multiple types of wood machinery would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience and full working knowledge of woodworking machinery. Training can be provided to develop and complement existing skills. The candidate is expected to be ale to work as part of a team, as well as on their own initiative. The candidate should be committed, hardworking and is required to have excellent attendance and punctuality levels.
