If you have experience with Xero and handling high-value payments (some exceeding £1 million), ideally within a legal setting, we would love to hear from you. This role values your skills, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
The Role at a Glance:
* Legal Accounts / Senior Finance Administrator
* Location: Milton Keynes (On-site, not city centre)
* Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 DOE

Your Background / Skills: Experience with high-value payments, legal accounts, Xero, client support, and strong attention to detail.

The Legal Cashier / Accounts Executive Overview:
* Manage client accounts with precision, monitoring and allocating incoming funds securely.
* Process high-value, time-sensitive payments accurately and promptly.
* Verify billable items, review completion statements, and ensure accurate fee recording.
* Reconcile invoices, bill clients, and manage transactions in Xero.
* Monitor client balances to prevent excess fund retention.
* Report business write-offs monthly for oversight.
About you:
* Previous experience in a similar accounts role is essential.
* Experience in a similar organization is beneficial.
* Highly experienced with large payments.
* Able to work independently with integrity.
* Maintain high standards and attention to detail.
* Prioritize tasks effectively and work accurately under pressure.
* Xero experience preferred but not essential.
* Finance qualifications are beneficial but not required.
