Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire Contract: Full-time / Part-time (flexible) Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience Start Date: Immediate or as agreed We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly and supportive school in Beaconsfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupil progress and working closely with teaching staff. The Role Deliver planned lessons and interventions in the absence of the class teacher Support learning across the curriculum, working with individuals, small groups, and whole classes Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development Uphold safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times The Ideal Candidate Holds a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience Has previous experience working in a UK primary or secondary school Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills Is proactive, flexible, and committed to supporting pupil achievement Has excellent communication and teamwork skills What We Offer A welcoming and supportive school environment Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development Competitive pay and flexible working arrangements The chance to make a real difference in pupils’ learning and confidence If you are a dedicated HLTA looking for your next opportunity in Beaconsfield, we would love to hear from you.
