Job Details
* Pay: £13.06 per hour
* Hours: 8 hours per week – Saturdays 06:30–15:00 (must work alone without supervision)
* Must hold a full UK current manual driving licence with no endorsements
* Location: Clifton College, 32 College Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 3JH

Equated pay (sometimes known as spread‑over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures / non‑working weeks. This means you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.

As a Driver & Store Operative, you’ll play a key role in delivering food provisions to various sites around the college campus and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
What You’ll Do
* Drive a company vehicle and comply with Sodexo’s driving policy and regulations.
* Deliver food supplies to various locations across the college campus.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
* Adhere to the daily delivery schedule and meet customers’ time slots.
* Promote a good company image to customers and guests by using positive customer service practices.
* Accept deliveries of stock, ensuring they are correct and recording any damage or discrepancies.
* Liaise with the Store Manager, hospitality team, Executive Head Chef and Catering Manager.
* Ensure that any orders are suitably packaged and ready for delivery.
* Keep accurate records of where stock is allocated around the site.
* Ensure the safety and security of the stock and complete frequent and accurate stock takes.
* Report any complaints and take action where possible.
* Undertake occasional duties outside the normal routine but within the scope of the position and the department’s activities.
* Comply with all company health and safety and food safety compliance rules and report any issues.
What You Bring
* Must hold a full UK current driving licence with no endorsements.
* Experience in a similar role either in a store / warehouse capacity or a kitchen / catering environment.
* Good time‑management and organisational skills.
* Self‑motivated and proactive.
* Ability to work in a role that requires physical effort and perform manual handling tasks.
* Ability to work as part of a team or individually as needed.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Positive approach to learning in the role and identifying own training needs as appropriate.
* Numerate and literate.
