The Role
Were looking for a proactive and experienced HR Advisor to join our UK-based HR team, supporting Rapiscan Systems and OSIE across the EMEA region. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your HR career in a dynamic, matrixed organisation with international exposure.
Youll play a key role in employee relations, provide expert HR guidance to managers and employees, and support strategic HR initiatives. Youll also oversee the HR Assistant and contribute to a wide range of HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for HR queries (phone, email, in-person)
Advise managers on ER matters: disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence
Manage sickness absence cases and coordinate occupational health referrals
Maintain accurate ER documentation and update the HR casework database
Deliver monthly HR reports and support HR workshops and training
Assist in policy development and ensure legal compliance
Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation with the HR Assistant
Collaborate with Payroll to improve operational efficiency
Support employee engagement and well-being initiatives
Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends
Contribute to HR projects (e.g. acquisitions, TUPE, restructures)
Assist with salary reviews, employee surveys, and recruitment processes
Provide HR metrics and support apprenticeship programmes
Provide cover for the Senior HRBP when needed
About You
Essential:
Minimum 2 years experience in a generalist HR advisory role
Strong employee relations experience
Solid knowledge of UK employment law
Proficient in using HRIS systems
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
Able to provide both remote and in-person HR support
Willingness to travel to UK sites as required
Desirable:
HR experience across the EMEA region
Multi-site HR experience
CIPD Level 5 qualification
Familiarity with MySuccess and SDWorx systems
