THIS IS A WEEKEND ROLE - Saturday and Sunday - 12 hour shifts 8am to 8pm

How about working for a charity that is well known across the world for being there to help and support others?
We are looking for two Youth Support Workers to do just that.
You'll be there to listen, advise and support. To act with compassion, respect and understanding. All the while, promoting client choices and assisting in the delivery of a successful programme.
THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION - 24 HOURS PER WEEK - SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY
What will you get?
* Rate of pay - £12.87 per hour
* Temporary Contract - with a view to moving towards a permanent position

* 8am to 8pm
What do you need?
* Experience of working with young people, or those who have been through homelessness
* An understanding of trauma and how it can effect behaviours
* The ability to work with others, encourage them and understand their complex lives
* Be non-judgmental and empathic
* Able to communicate at all levels
* Willing to cover various shift patterns
* Be motivated to help others
* Able to complete a DBS check or have a live check on the update service (this will be covered by the employer)
What will I do?
* You'll work at one of two projects across Cardiff set up specifically to support young people
* You'll work within a psychologically informed framework
* Aiming to deliver zero evictions within the projects
* Offer post-resettlement support to young people
* Help them to move and settle in to independent living once they are ready
* Work in in trauma informed environment
* Plan and carry out activities to engage with the young people
* Be there as a point of contact and occasionally assist on the front desk
