Job Overview We are looking for 2 deputy managers for a 5-bedded bespoke service that will provide person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities and mental health. You will be supported by a registered manager and an operations manager, giving you the opportunity for personal development and progression within the company. Duties Deputy Manager will assist in leading and overseeing the home. Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans tailored to residents needs. You will be in charge of overseeing a group of employees to provide a secure, caring, and encouraging atmosphere. Provide training and mentorship to new staff members, promoting best practices in home care. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for residents. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans as necessary. Ensure that all documentation related to resident care is accurate and up-to-date. The deputy manager will be supported by an operations manager with 15 years of experience in adult residential care. Qualifications Previous experience in a supervisory role within a care home, nursing home, or assisted living facility is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities. Compassionate approach towards residents, with a commitment to enhancing their quality of life. Level 3 in health & social care. Experience working with complex adults at least 2 years.
