St Dominic Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner who holds either an Early Years Practitioner Level 6 (EYPS) qualification or an Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) to join our excellent team. This is a permanent position for 22 hours per week, 8.30am – 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, with an additional 2 hours PPA time allocated one afternoon per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, monitoring and assessing, and will play a crucial role in providing high quality early education to 3 and 4-yearold children. This includes developing a curriculum that the children will respond to positively, ensuring that the provision for all children is of the highest possible standard and inspiring them to learn through play-based learning. We have a large, well-resourced nursery classroom with an amazing outdoor area. Candidates must have: An excellent understanding of the Early Years curriculum to ensure children develop strong foundations to prepare them for their next stage in their education Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A willingness to support the aims and values of our Catholic School ( but do not need to be of the Catholic faith) Experience and knowledge of SEND A willingness to build positive relationships with both parents and staff You will be joining a highly qualified and supportive team.
