About The Role
This full‑time role (40 hrs per week) is for an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One. The position focuses on planning and implementing activities that delight residents, coordinating home manager fundraising events, and fostering a culture of kindness throughout the care home team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing, planning, and delivering activities for residents across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes.
* Supporting the Home Manager with fundraising events and other essential activities.
* Encouraging residents to socialize, developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies, and engaging the wider care‑home team.
* Maintaining a supportive, safe environment; recognising signs of abuse, harm or neglect and reporting concerns appropriately.
* Participating in safeguarding training and ongoing professional development.
Required skills and experience:
* Background working with vulnerable, aged or residential populations, ideally with activity programme development.
* Excellent planning, organisational and time‑management skills.
* Proficiency with IT and willingness to use digital care‑planning technology.
* Strong communication skills, demonstrating empathy, consideration and kindness.
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
