Job Description Summary
Our GE Vernova transformer facility is renowned worldwide for its expertise in the design, manufacturing, and delivery of HVAC and HVDC transformers up to 800 kV.
Job Responsibilities
* Prepare PLC coding, HMI coding, control schematics, specifications, general arrangement drawings, and cable schedules for control cabinets of power transformers.
* Interface with relays, tap‑changers, and other transformer components and SCADA/central control systems.
* Select and specify components for ordering and manufacturing, review supplier drawings, and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests.
* Achieve key performance indicators of on‑time delivery, right‑first‑time, and budget adherence.
* Lead communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, projects, tendering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, etc.).
Education and Experience
* Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls, or equivalent experience in Power Transformers, LV/HV Applications.
* Experience with Autocad Electrical or equivalent software.
* Experience in Document Management Systems such as WindChill (not essential).
* Proven ability to work independently on control schematics and component specifications.
