Project Management:
* Plan and schedule jobs once quotes are approved, ensuring technicians are briefed and equipped.
* Monitor job progress and communicate updates to clients and Head of Division.
* Troubleshoot site issues by coordinating with technicians and clients in real-time.
* Ensure that jobs are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.
* Maintain records of completed works, variations, and customer feedback
Estimating & Cost Management:
* Review job briefs, site photos, technician notes, and client requirements to prepare competitive and accurate quotes.
* Liaise with technicians for scoping complex jobs or arranging site visits when needed.
* Source material and subcontractor costs to ensure quotes are commercially viable.
* Track and follow up on quote approvals with clients
Reporting:
§ Maintain up-to-date records of works, certifications, and maintenance logs.
§ Ensure compliance with health and safety and company policies.
§ Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, risks, and solutions within the weekly heads of department meeting.
Key Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Confidence in speaking with clients and technicians.
* Basic understanding of property maintenance services (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job management systems (or ability to learn quickly).
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a property maintenance, facilities management, or construction environment.
* Experience in preparing quotes or estimates.
* Familiarity with scheduling technicians or managing site works.
* Full UK driving licence
Qualifications:
§ Valid driver's license.
