About You
In your role as a Clinical Night Manager at HC-One, you’ll be delivering the very highest standard of care as you assess nursing needs, identify and take the right interventions for every resident who needs you. You’ll also supervise colleagues, manage shifts, and ensure flawless handover summaries are completed to guarantee continuity of care. Above all, it’s about ensuring our residents are at the core of everything you do. You will oversee a team to deliver outstanding care and, in the Home Manager’s absence, take responsibility for leading that team and running the home. Whether helping a colleague develop their performance, administering prescribed medicines, or preparing incident reports, you’ll always prioritize resident wellbeing.
You will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
You must be a Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number and understand your professional commitments according to NMC standards.
You should have a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues, supporting as a practice supervisor and assessor to students. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and professional behavior are essential.
You will advocate for and deliver person-centred care for residents and their families.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to follow if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
