About the Roles
Dorothy Henderson Lodge is seeking two Permanent Part‑Time Carers, each working 45 hours per fortnight. These roles involve a mix of AM and PM shifts and play a vital part in supporting residents to live well every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Build genuine, trusting relationships with residents
* Assist with personal care including showering, grooming, meals and mobility
* Support residents in meaningful activities that promote joy, purpose and social engagement
* Encourage independence, choice and dignity
* Communicate changes or concerns to ensure care plans remain accurate
* Contribute to a safe, person‑centred and supportive environment
Each role offers:
* 45 hours per fortnight
* A mix of AM and PM shifts
* A predictable and supportive roster
* Weekday and weekend shifts available
* Flexibility to balance work with family, study or personal commitments

About You
You will thrive in this role if you bring:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, or are working toward completion
* Experience in residential aged care or a similar care environment
* Competence in personal care tasks and manual handling
* A strong commitment to person‑centred care and resident dignity
* Warm communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
* The ability to work independently and within a supportive team
* Reliability and flexibility to work AM and PM shifts
* Basic computer skills for documentation and care plans
* A positive, respectful and empathetic approach
