A leading Top 10 accountancy firm based in London is seeking an Assistant Tax Manager to join its well-established Corporate Tax team. The Role
This role is focused on delivering corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of UK and international clients. You will work closely with Managers, Senior Managers and Partners, taking responsibility for day-to-day client delivery while developing your technical knowledge and managerial skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and reviewing corporate tax computations and returns for a varied client base
* Assisting with corporate tax advisory projects, including group structuring, reorganisations, and transactions
* Managing day-to-day client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
* Supporting the planning and delivery of tax projects to agreed deadlines and budgets
* Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing coaching and guidance
* Liaising with HMRC where required and assisting with enquiries
* Keeping up to date with changes in UK corporate tax legislation and communicating developments to clients and the wider team
Candidate Requirements
* Newly qualified ACA and/or CTA (or equivalent), or close to qualification
* Corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy firm
* Strong technical grounding in UK corporate tax
* Good communication skills with the ability to build effective client relationships
* Desire to develop management and advisory skills
* Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines
